From Chaos to Confidence: Nikki’s Hormone Transformation

This is an amazing & true story about my friend Nikki.

For context, before I started charging for coaching I worked with 6 people for free. Nikki’s journey was one case I feel particularly grateful to be a part of.

When I first met Nikki, she was struggling—in many ways, actually.

See, Nikki has had a brain tumor since she was very young. Her tumor has wreaked havoc on her hormones.

Two years ago, her periods weren’t just irregular.

She’d go many months without one, only to experience 3, 5, sometimes 8 weeks of nonstop bleeding.

Nikki was physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. She felt depressed, disconnected, and stuck.

Maybe it’s a little personal to share, but Nikki thought she might be asexual. It was difficult for her to hold down a job because she might lose interest or lash out at coworkers. Often, Nikki would wish she “wasn’t here.”

Her energy was gone, her sleep schedule was a mess, and thyroid issues caused by the tumor made her gain weight.

She was prescribed expensive medication that only slightly helped, but she eventually stopped taking it because she couldn’t afford it anymore.

You Don’t Have to Settle for “Normal”

Here’s the truth: You don’t have to settle for “normal” when you could feel incredible.

It all starts with understanding what your body really needs. That’s why the first step we take is to get your bloodwork checked.

For Nikki, we also started with a body scan offered at her gym to establish a baseline.

None of what I’m sharing is a “quick fix.” Nikki didn’t get to where she is today overnight, and she didn’t change everything at once.

We focused on small, sustainable changes that fit into her life and allowed her to build momentum over time.

The Transformation

Over the last two years, step by step, Nikki made consistent, meaningful changes that completely transformed her life.

Here’s what we did:

  • Nutrition: We adjusted how she fueled her body. Small, sustainable shifts in her eating habits, paired with 3 specific supplements, helped support her hormonal balance.
  • Workouts: Instead of 6 intense, hour-long classes, she focused on 3 short strength-training sessions per week. I also encouraged her to walk outside for 20 minutes a day to manage stress and get some sunlight.
  • Recovery: Nikki committed to a consistent sleep schedule, which helped lower her cortisol levels and supported her overall well-being.
  • Biohacking:
    • We introduced 4 weekly cold exposure sessions in the morning and heat exposure in the evening to help regulate her body.
    • We also incorporated fasting once a week—but only during weeks when she wasn’t on her ovarian cycle.

The Results

The results? Nothing short of life-changing:

  • ➡ Her periods became regular for the first time in her life—and they’ve stayed consistent for the last 18 months.
  • ➡ She gained 4 pounds of muscle and lost 25 pounds of body fat, going from 140 lbs to 119 lbs.
  • ➡ She feels so much better she hasn’t even felt the need to refill her prescription.
  • ➡ Her energy levels skyrocketed, and thoughts of “not wanting to be here” have diminished.
  • ➡ She’s been able to keep her current career long-term—almost 2 years straight now.
  • ➡ She rediscovered her sex drive and confidence.
  • ➡ She built habits she loves—like enjoying the gym and nourishing her body the right way.

Nikki didn’t just lose weight. She regained her health, confidence, and zest for life—all naturally, alongside careful monitoring of her condition.
